How credits work, in short
What one credit buys, when findproperly doesn't spend it, and where the two credit pools come from.

One credit, one report
One credit buys one property report. findproperly only spends it once the deeds office actually returns something — a search that comes back not found, ambiguous, or failed never costs you a credit.
Two pools, one balance
Credits come from two places. Standard’s plan includes a set number of reports each month, refreshed on your billing date — that monthly allowance is Standard-only; Gold and Gold Plus don’t include monthly reports. On top of that, anyone can buy credit packs, and those never expire — a pack bought in January is still good in December.
Which pool gets used first
Pull a report, and findproperly draws from your monthly allowance before touching your top-up balance, so the credits that would otherwise run out at the end of the month get used first.
