Accepting a workspace invitation
What accepting a colleague's invitation actually does to your account, and what each dead-link message means.

What accepting does
Opening the link and accepting moves the properties and documents already in your own account into the new workspace, where everyone there can see them. Any reports you’ve already bought stay yours to read.
What it doesn’t move
Unspent credits stay behind on your old account rather than joining the workspace’s pool. Worth knowing before you click accept, not after.
Signing in
If you’re not signed in, the link takes you to sign in with Google first, then brings you back to the invitation. Sign in with the exact address the invitation was sent to — a different Google account won’t match it.
If you’ve already accepted
Opening the same link again just tells you that you’re already in the workspace, with a link back to it. Nothing happens twice.
When the link doesn’t work
A few messages mean the invitation can’t be used any more:
It ran out — invitations last a week; ask whoever invited you to send a new one.
It was cancelled — whoever sent it revoked it; ask them to send a new one.
A newer invitation replaced it — look for the most recent email from your firm and use that link instead.
It’s already been used — ask whoever invited you to send a new one.
Next: open the invitation email and follow the link when you’re ready to move your account across.
