Setting your workspace's name and logo
How to set the name and logo everyone in your workspace sees, and the file limits that apply.

Who can change it
Only an Admin can set or change the workspace’s name and logo. Everyone else sees it — in the sidebar and on every report — but can’t edit it.
Setting the name
Type the trading name your firm goes by. There’s a 200-character limit, which is far more than any real business name needs — it’s there so the name always fits cleanly in the sidebar and on a report, not to restrict what you can call yourselves.
Uploading a logo
Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP file, up to 2 MB. findproperly checks the actual file content to confirm it’s really one of those image types, not just the filename, so a mislabelled file gets refused rather than quietly accepted. The logo isn’t resized or reprocessed — it’s stored and shown exactly as you uploaded it.
Removing a logo
An Admin can remove the logo at any time, with no confirmation step. The workspace falls back to a plain name with no mark. Re-uploading takes moments, so there’s nothing standing between a wrong upload and starting over.
Before there’s a name
A brand-new workspace has no name set, and every member sees it plainly as unnamed until an Admin sets one. It’s not an error — it’s just the starting state.
Next: go to findproperly.co.za/settings/org to set your workspace’s name and logo.
