Turning on auto-top-up
How the automatic refill works, what it re-buys, and who's told if a charge doesn't go through.

What it does
Once armed, auto-top-up buys your workspace another credit pack the moment the pool drops to 2 reports left — before it actually runs out and someone is left standing in front of a report they can’t pull.
Getting it armed
The refill is switched on by default, but there’s nothing for it to act on until you’ve bought your first pack yourself. That first purchase is also what sets the spending ceiling — twice what that pack cost, to start — and both the switch and the ceiling are editable from the billing page from then on.
What it re-buys, and the ceiling
Auto-top-up re-buys whichever pack size you last paid for, priced at today’s rate, and never spends past the ceiling an Admin has set. If a refill would go over it, the attempt stops rather than buying a smaller pack to squeeze under — that’s a decision only an Admin gets to make, by raising the ceiling.
Never in front of a client
Auto-top-up never interrupts an agent mid-appointment. There’s no purchase prompt fired while someone’s with a seller or a buyer — the refill runs quietly in the background, or it doesn’t run at all.
If a charge doesn’t go through
Whoever handles billing for the workspace is told first. If nobody holds that role, an Admin is told straight away instead — and if a day passes with the pool still stuck, an Admin is told too, even if Billing already was.
