Who can cancel
Cancelling a plan is an Admin capability. If you’re on the Billing or Member role, you won’t see a cancel button on the billing page — ask an Admin in your workspace.
What you keep
Cancelling doesn’t take back the month you’ve already paid for. Your plan stays active until the current paid period ends, and any top-up reports you’ve bought stay yours, whether you keep the workspace going afterwards or not.
“Payment failed” — two different sentences
If Paystack can’t collect a renewal, the billing page shows Payment failed. What that means depends on where you are in the paid period:
Still inside it — your reports, documents and price map stay exactly as available as before, and the monthly allowance simply won’t refresh until a payment goes through.
Past the end of it — the paid period has run out, and the workspace locks. Nothing is deleted; a successful payment opens it straight back up.
The locked-workspace article in this collection covers what that lock looks like and who can lift it.
Next: cancel or check your plan at findproperly.co.za/billing.
